Moving On | Robyn Aguila

Hello Regina Mundi Parish!

Wishing you all a happy New Year filled with the joy of Christ. I am here to announce that I am moving on from my role as the Evangelization Coordinator and will be wrapping up my duties by the end of the month.

I am sad to be leaving this job as it has brought me so much joy to serve you all in this capacity. Nevertheless, I am so excited for the new mission God is calling me to! I will be a Chaplaincy Leader for the school board and I am starting temporarily at Bishop Tonnos, then will be working at Bishop Ryan and Wilma’s Place.

I want to thank you all for your support over the years, not just as the Evangelization Coordinator, but throughout my lifetime growing up in this parish. From the crying room, to the Children’s Choir, Altar Serving, Youth Group ... I know that I would not be where I am if it wasn’t from the support of this community, our parish family. I am so grateful for all of the people I have gotten to know and have had the privilege to journey with.

Now you’re probably wondering and asking yourselves “what’s something nice I can do for Robyn as a farewell?” Well I am so glad you asked!

1. “Therefore encourage one another and build up each other, as indeed you are doing.” (1 Thessalonians 5:11). Continue the great work that you are doing to build the body of Christ, edifying one another, challenging each other to grow in holiness and in mission.

2. Go to Fr Adam and ask him “How can I help with parish renewal and evangelization? How can I help to continue Robyn’s work?” It would bring me a lot of joy to see more people stepping up as missionary disciples and becoming leaders so we can continue to grow and expand our impact in spreading the Good News.

3. Please pray for me, and the students and community which I will be serving. Pray for the healing of hearts and souls turning to Christ. Pray that I have the strength and courage to do what God is calling me to do, and that I am humble enough to allow Him to work in me.
