Knights of Columbus (#12745)

A fraternal organization of Catholic men in service for each other and the community.

About:
The Knights of Columbus is an organization of practicing Catholic gentlemen who believe in unity, charity, fraternalism and patriotism.
Being a Knight is more than camaraderie; it is being involved with your community; it is supporting your local Catholic Church, while enhancing your own faith; it is about protecting and enhancing your family life.

Who Can Join?
Knights are Catholic men, 18 years of age and older, who are committed to making their community a better place, while supporting their Church.
Membership offers many opportunities to further participate in the life of the parish and community. We welcome men from all walks of life who are willing to give 3 hours per month in support of parish life and organized community charities.

Meeting Schedule:

Shopping Cards Program:
Our Council buys shopping / gift cards from many local and national retailers at a discount. We then make these cards available to you. You get the full value of the card to spend. For example, you order a $100 Fortino’s card and you get to spend $100 at Fortino’s no hidden fee. Fortino’s gives the Council a commission of $3.50. So you are in effect directing the retailer to make a donation to your Parish. Everybody wins. Card order forms are available each month at the Knights of Columbus display in the outer narthex of the church. Please see the document above for further information.

The Knights continue to seek new members now and at any time during the year.
Please speak to any Knight or contact James Martyres at: 905-575-8405.

In light of COVID, the Knights have cancelled Breakfast with Santa this year, but hope to resume this annual event in 2021.
