Alpha
Explore life, faith, and Jesus together.
About: Alpha is a friendly and welcoming environment to explore the meaning of life. Through this 11 week course participants will be able to explore the Christian faith, while sharing a meal together, and engage in a series of talks and discussions. All sessions start with food, because it’s a great way to connect, relax and build friendships.
The talks are designed to engage and inspire conversation. Each talk is around thirty minutes long and played as a video. They explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions from Who is Jesus? and How can we have faith? to Why and how do I pray? and How does God guide us? One of the most important parts of any Alpha: the chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic, and discuss in a small group in an honest, friendly and open environment.
Who Can Join? Young adults and adults, parishioners and non-parishioners are welcome to attend. If you have already attended Alpha, please consider inviting a friend and/or volunteering! We are always looking for Table Hosts and co-hosts, and volunteers for the Food and Hospitality team.
Meeting Schedule: Wednesdays 6:30 p.m. September 14-November 23, 2022
