Greeters
Assist clergy, parishioners, and visitors
Regina Mundi is blessed to have a group of dedicated parishioners who belong to this Ministry. The purpose of this devoted service Ministry is to assist clergy, fellow parishioners and visitors to Regina Mundi at all weekend Liturgies and special celebrations.
Greeters are those friendly faces who welcome people to our Parish community. They are on hand to answer questions and to direct people who are new to our Church. Greeters are the ones who help in the preparation of a family to offer up the gifts at Communion time. They are also responsible to take up the collection from the congregation and, in the case of an emergency, the Ushers are there to assist.
In addition to these weekly tasks, Greeters are called upon to help with special Liturgies like First Communion, Confirmation and Good Friday Services. You will see them in the Narthex and Church entrances as you arrive and receive your Parish bulletins from them when you depart.
The Greeters are always looking for new men and women who would like to become part of their team. If you are interested in becoming a Greeter at Regina Mundi, please either talk to a Greeter (Andy Palmer) or call the Parish Office at 905-385-3297.
